About
Diversity Scholars is a national, not-for-profit organization that helps underserved high school students navigate the college planning process and find the best opportunities to succeed in post-secondary education.
We support students so they can match with the post-secondary institution – whether a 2-year or 4-year school – that provides them the best opportunity to graduate with a college degree.
We work exclusively with underserved students who are committed to academic and/or extra-curricular achievements.
Our Tools

College Bound eProfiles’ web-based software allows high school students to build electronic profiles and connect with colleges of their choice by sending electronic resumes directly to admission offices via email. Once a profile is sent, students are able to communicate with the admissions and student support offices.

Diversity College Bound Scholars allows college admission departments to recruit students who participate in College Bound eProfiles. When a student creates an electronic resume, it is placed in the database where participating college admission departments can sign up and recruit students without having to leave their office.

By 2018, 63 percent of all jobs will require at least some postsecondary education. This study estimated the need for 22 million new postsecondary certified workers and predicted our nation would fall three million workers short of meeting this demand (“Help Wanted: Projections of Jobs and Education Requirements Through 2018,” Georgetown University Center of Education and the Workforce, 2010). This shortfall in our educated workforce is experienced most acutely by low income families, families where adults have not previously earned postsecondary credentials, and minorities.
